Feeding Pets of the Homeless® is a nationwide non-profit that works with companies and volunteers throughout the country to collect pet meals and supplies for our homeless population that owns pets. Our volunteers assist enlist pet meals donation websites of their local communities and are advocates for keeping pets and humans together. Feeding Pets of the Homeless® is the first and one of the few national nonprofits providing pet food and emergency veterinary care to pets that belong to homeless folks. Pets aren’t allowed at Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park due to the captive wildlife. The park supplies complimentary kennels at the main entrance of the park on US 19 for those visitors traveling with pets.
